CEO LAWYER: Delta Flight Attendant Strikes Palestinian Passenger In The Face, CEO Lawyer Demands $20 Million And Requires Education About Palestine For All Delta Employees

(ATLANTA, GA, 8/26/2025): Today, CEO Lawyer (founded by Attorney Ali Awad) announces a $20 million legal demand against Delta Airlines following a shocking in-flight assault against passenger Mr. Mohammad Shibli, who was slapped in the face by a Delta flight attendant during a cross-country flight. The Delta employee was detained, and the FBI is involved.

On July 29, 2025, Mohammad Shibli boarded Delta Flight 0561 with his wife and 2 young children. When Mr. Shibli’s wife asked a Delta flight attendant for water to give to her crying 2-year-old child, the Delta employee refused. Mr. Shibli then requested water for his child, and again, the Delta employee refused. Other passengers were being served at this time. When Mr. Shibli went to get water for himself from a different attendant, the Delta employee whispered a vulgar word to him and then struck him in the face. One of the witnesses reported that the smack was so loud it could be heard through their noise-canceling headphones.

Mr. Shibli’s wife was wearing a Palestine shirt on the flight. Attorney Awad pointed to Delta’s tweet on their official X account in 2024, where Delta stated they would be “terrified” if someone wore a Palestinian flag – responding to a customer who complained about two Delta employees wearing Palestinian pins on their uniforms. Delta later deleted the tweet and implemented a company-wide policy to exclude such flags. This dress code change came in the middle of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, which has killed at least 60,000 Palestinians.

Mr. Shibli said in the press conference: “the Delta attendant… struck me with an open palm as hard as she could. I couldn’t believe what was happening. I stood up and yelled for help… the Delta attendant who struck me proceeded to serve other passengers as if nothing happened.”

Mr. Shibli continued, “I was on that plane for almost 4 more hours. It was painful and embarrassing. As a father, I looked helpless in front of my son. As a husband, I was humiliated. And as a passenger, I feared for the safety and security for myself and my family.”

He concluded: “No one should ever experience physical abuse like this, especially on a plane mid-air with nowhere to go for 4 hours.”

Attorney Awad stated Delta has a pattern of discrimination against Palestinians, physical violence, and negligent hiring – citing three different articles about Delta in the past year alone. The entire altercation also took place in front of Mr. Shibli’s four year old son.

CEO Lawyer Personal Injury Law Firm is submitting a formal demand against Delta Airlines on behalf of Mr. Shibli. Attorney Ali Awad, joined by Associate Attorney Dia Jada and Senior Trial Attorney Nathan Kratzert are submitting a formal demand to Delta Airlines as follows:

1) Mandatory education and sensitivity training to all Delta employees about Palestine 2) One day of Delta’s profits

When asked what the monetary damages would be, Mr. Awad referenced Delta’s own quarterly earnings report which showed profits in excess of $2 billion during a 91-day period.

What Is My Personal Injury Case Worth?

The value of your case depends on several factors, including the severity of your injuries, medical expenses, lost wages, and the impact on your life. Each personal injury case involves different factors that vary from one case to another. An experienced personal injury lawyer can provide you with a more precise estimate of your case’s value by reviewing the specific details of your situation. They will analyze similar cases in your jurisdiction, consider the legal precedents, and use their knowledge of past settlements and verdicts to gauge a realistic potential outcome for your case. This estimate helps you understand what you might expect regarding compensation and guides the negotiation or litigation process to ensure you receive a fair settlement.

What Should I Do Immediately After an Accident?

After an accident, seek medical attention immediately, even if you feel fine, to address any hidden injuries. Document everything, including photos of the scene and contact information for witnesses. Gathering witness statements is crucial because they provide an objective account of the accident, supporting your version of events and strengthening your personal injury claim. Report the incident to the proper authorities, such as the police or property owner. Finally, contact a personal injury lawyer as soon as possible to discuss your legal options and protect your rights, ensuring you receive fair compensation for your injuries.

How Much Will a Personal Injury Lawyer Cost?

Most personal injury lawyers operate on a contingency fee basis, which means that you don’t have to pay any upfront fees or hourly rates. Instead, the lawyer’s payment is contingent upon the outcome of your case. If you win your case, whether through a settlement or a court judgment, the lawyer will receive a percentage of the compensation awarded to you. If you don't win your case, you usually won’t owe the lawyer any fees for their services.

How Long Will It Take to Resolve My Personal Injury Case?

The timeline for resolving a personal injury case can vary significantly based on a variety of factors, making it difficult to predict exactly how long your case will take. The complexity of the case is a major determining factor. For instance, straightforward cases with clear liability and minimal disputes over damages can sometimes be resolved relatively quickly, often within a few months. These cases may involve negotiating a fair settlement with the insurance company, which can happen promptly if all parties are cooperative and the evidence is strong.
